Last month, Jenny and I took a business trip to Kuala Lumpur, a bustling city known not just for its vibrant business environment but also for its rich cultures, landmarks, and food! We chose Lloyd’s Inn as our accommodation due to its wonderful location and quick responses from the front desk. They kindly accepted a 12kg package on my behalf, and their graciousness really made me look forward to returning and staying there again, where I always feel so well cared for.

Nestled in the lively Imbi area, Lloyd’s Inn offered us more than just convenience. Its proximity to the newly opened Exchange 106 mall at TRX and iconic spots like KLCC and Bukit Bintang meant that everything we needed was just a short ride away. Yet, within the walls of Lloyd’s Inn, the city’s hustle faded into the background, providing us with a cozy and comfortable stay.

Unique Blend of Nature and Comfort
The design of the hotel really stood out to us right away. Each room at Lloyd’s Inn is designed to make you feel like you’re outside, bringing a refreshing bit of nature into our stay. We loved the outdoor shower because it was like having a little piece of Bali right in one of our rooms, peaceful and refreshing. Jenny stayed in The Big Sky Room (Loft) and I stayed in The Big Sky Room (Bathtub). It was a great place to relax and work. We usually don’t sleep with all the lights off in hotels, but at Lloyd’s Inn, we could because the windows looked out over the city. The city lights kept our rooms softly lit, almost like having a night light.

During our stay, we enjoyed the amenities that make Lloyd’s Inn stand out. Coming back to the hotel after a busy day felt like stepping into a calm oasis. There’s a cozy social pod area where guests can gather for a chat, and even a meeting room is available. Jenny and I were thinking about bringing our team here for a retreat to discuss our future plans as we expand our community. The pool area was especially delightful with a swing that added a fun touch. Most importantly, the city view added to the vibrant atmosphere, perfect for city lovers like us.

Each morning, we had a few breakfast options to choose from. We appreciated the simplicity of having just two choices—it made our decision easier as we already faced numerous choices during our business trip. Above the breakfast area, there’s a charming tea room which we unfortunately didn’t have time to fully enjoy due to our tight schedule in KL.

The service at the hotel was exceptional. I jokingly asked Jenny if the staff were trained by Singapore Airlines because of their meticulous attention to detail and thoughtful care. They surprised us with several welcome gifts and even handwritten notes. They also gave us two tote bags, which were incredibly useful for carrying a 12 kg package that wouldn’t fit in my luggage.
The hotel’s location, coupled with its thoughtful design, made our business trip not just productive but also incredibly pleasant. We left Lloyd’s Inn feeling refreshed and more connected, making our business trip a memorable one. It’s rare to find a hotel that caters so effectively to both the hustle of business and the desire for peace, and Lloyd’s Inn KL does it with style.
