Do you have elderly loved ones living alone?
Do you fear that they might get injured at home and need help while you are at work?
Let the Red Cross be the solution!
Insurance for your loved ones, peace of mind for yourself!
Balancing the responsibilities of work and caregiving can be challenging, but there are solutions available to provide peace of mind and ensure their safety. If you have elderly family members living independently, it is natural to worry about their welfare, particularly during times when you are unable to be with them. You may have concerns about accidents, health emergencies, or even simple tasks that they may struggle with on their own. Fortunately, there are options that can help address these concerns and alleviate your worries.
One solution to consider is implementing a home monitoring system specifically designed for seniors. These systems utilize advanced technology to keep a watchful eye on your loved ones while respecting their privacy. With the installation of sensors, cameras, and other monitoring devices, you can receive real-time updates and alerts regarding their activities and well-being.
What Is HoME+?
HoME+ (Home Monitoring & Eldercare) is a specialized program that offers extensive support and aid to elderly individuals who prefer to age in the comfort of their own homes. This program combines advanced home monitoring technology with personalized eldercare services to guarantee the safety and overall well-being of seniors.
It includes a monitoring system using sensors placed around the home. When unusual patterns are detected or when the user activates the panic button, the Singapore Red Cross call centre is notified immediately. Depending on the situation, community responders or the SCDF (for emergencies) will be dispatched to provide assistance.
HoME+ goes beyond monitoring by providing personalized eldercare services. These services are tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual and may encompass regular check-ins by trained caregivers, assistance with daily activities, medication reminders, and coordination with healthcare professionals. The aim is to deliver comprehensive support that addresses both the physical and emotional well-being of elderly individuals.
Who Can Benefit?
HoME+ is a great help and safety net for seniors living alone, post-surgery patients, wheelchair users, and more!

The HoME+ Program
By integrating cutting-edge home monitoring technology, HoME+ enables continuous surveillance of the elderly person’s living environment. This includes the installation of various monitoring devices such as motion sensors, door/window sensors, fall detection sensors, and emergency call buttons. These devices work together to provide real-time monitoring, allowing for the detection of potential emergencies or risks.
The HoME+ program provides non-invasive and round-the-clock protection, as clients can activate a panic button to call for help in times of distress. The distress call sends a notification to SRC, which then mobilizes a community responder, trained in first aid and eldercare, to attend to the client within the hour. In emergency situations, SRC will also activate the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
The overall objective of HoME+ is to enable elderly individuals to maintain their independence while ensuring their safety and comfort at home. By combining advanced home monitoring technology with personalized eldercare services, HoME+ creates a holistic approach to supporting seniors in their desire to age in place.
