I was introduced to Thalgo Essentials Marine Facial. This facial treatment is done using a combination of three marine algae. This treatment is well-known to help regenerate and hydrate your skin, giving you a fresh radiant look!
The beauty therapist gave my face a double cleanse first. After cleansing, a mask was applied first to further prep my skin for the treatment.
This treatment consists of Marine micro-nutrients and antioxidants that will help in skin renewal and fight against free radicals. The therapist explained that this treatment is suitable for my skin because it helps to replenish more moisture to keep my skin hydrated. Although I have combination skin, my skin is more dry than oily. This means my skin is dehydrated and tends to overcompensate by producing more oil, which eventually leads to more clogged pores.
There are a few masks in this treatment and the whole process was so comfortable that I honestly dozed off once the beauty therapist left the room for the mask to settle on my face.
