Join Us in Supporting Local Hawkers!

At The Ladies Cue, we believe in lifting up the voices and businesses that contribute to the rich tapestry of our community. Fu Qiang Pig’s Organ Soup is one such business that reflects the authenticity, hard work, and passion we admire. Visit them at 4 Woodlands Street 12, #01-17, and experience the heart and soul of hawker food while playing your part in sustaining our local heritage.

Let’s continue to celebrate and support our local hawkers and SMEs — because when they thrive, our culture and community flourish.

Together with Melissa, Lindy, Aziel and Veronica, we visited Fu Qiang Pig’s Organ Soup Stall for a good spread of Kway Chap, Pig Ogran Soup as well as Bak Kut Teh!

At Fu Qiang Pig’s Organ Soup 富强猪杂汤, nestled in the heart of Woodlands at 4 Woodlands Street 12, #01-17, you will find more than just a humble bowl of soup. It’s a celebration of Singapore’s rich hawker culture, a tribute to the hardworking hands behind each dish, and a connection to our culinary heritage.

Fu Qiang Pig’s Organ Soup is a stall that represents the authenticity of traditional hawker food. Their signature dish, pig’s organ soup, is a flavorful concoction that balances the delicate taste of pork with the richness of innards and a well-seasoned, nourishing broth. It’s the kind of meal that warms both the body and the heart, and it’s become a favorite among locals who crave that comforting, homely taste.

The soup is a light yet flavorful broth, simmered for hours with a mix of pork bones, liver, intestines, stomach, and other organs. The rich taste of the innards complements the broth, while the addition of salted vegetables (咸菜) and tofu gives it extra texture and depth. Paired with rice, this soup is a satisfying meal that brings warmth and nourishment to your day. I love to eat with chili options.

We also ordered the kway chap set which was filled with yummylicious braised sauce and smooth kway in the broth. Mixtures of eggs, tau pok, pork belly, and intestines. All are so well-braised and clean!

Lindy and Veronica took a big bowl each of Bak Kut Teh, with meatballs and sliced freshly-cooked kidney and liver. For those who love the tender, delicate taste of pig’s liver, this dish is a must-try. The pig’s liver is carefully prepared to ensure it’s cooked just right — tender but not tough, with a smooth texture that blends beautifully with the clear, light broth.

While we were enjoying our dinner we could see people non-stop coming to patronise the stall. Have queues and yet with fast movements and quite a number of them are their regulars. At stalls like Fu Qiang, families, friends, and neighbors gather to share meals and create memories. Supporting these establishments fosters a sense of community, something we at The Ladies Cue deeply value.

Thanks so much for this media invitation and we felt so warmly welcomed by the boss and staff. They are friendly and always see them smiling (even though they are covered with a mask each) and adding hot soup for their customers.
