Launching on 23 April 2021, artisanal craft is alive this season at UNIQLO and JW ANDERSON. Vibrant floral embroidery, smocking and blanket stitching lend handcrafted warmth to simple silhouettes. Created with a hope for new beginnings and brighter days, the collection continues to evolve LifeWear with signature JW ANDERSON craftsmanship and heirloom charm.

The season of spring can easily be seen on the professional stitched floral designs, bringing the sense of tranquility with every flower. With many designs available on their website and in store, you will be able to find your favourite “floral” shirt, skirt and even hats! For guys who like to have a tad bit of flowers in their life, there is another collection specifically for men’s wear.

I was honoured to be able to receive an embroidery kit to try out the stitching on my own as well! As a beginner, it definitely showed me that stitching requires immense effort and makes me appreciate the flowers on the shirt even more. Luckily for me, they have also given a manual on how I can do simple stitches even on my favourite tote bags and other cloth items.

Not to forget, Uniqlo has also produced quality AIRism masks that help us to breathe easily when we wear them out! The technology helps to block UV rays and 99% of bacteria and pollen. It is very comfortable and cooling to wear under the hot Singapore weather.

You can get both the collection and masks at their outlets around Singapore or even on their online store at www.uniqlo.com/sg/. Do check out the wide range of JW Anderson’s Spring Floral Collection at www.uniqlo.com/jwanderson/21ss/sg/. You can look out for their look books for better ideas on how to wear it out!
