Launched on 3 December 2021, an inspiration from Beatrix Potter, UNIQLO and JW ANDERSON released their 2021 Fall/Winter Collection. This latest collaboration brings an urban touch to serene country weekend living and continues UNIQLO’s ongoing quest to deliver the ultimate in everyday comfort through LifeWear, which is simple, high-quality everyday clothing that is affordable and makes everyone’s life better.
Designer Jonathan Anderson says that “For me, this collection was really about embracing the season. I wanted something that felt very Autumnal in a way and that also felt quite like Autumn in the British countryside. I wanted it to feel comfortable and worn. Almost cozy in a way.”
Traditional tartans and accent stitching create a fresh contrast in an autumnal and winter colour palette, making it easy on the eye. Comfy quilting and toasty fleece are also perfect for relaxing weekend escapes from the hustle and bustle of the city, especially during this rainy and cooling season in Singapore. New additions to this collaboration collection include loungewear and such home accessories as cushions and blankets.
Designer Jonathan Anderson has adored Beatrix Potter’s most famous creation Peter Rabbit and his cousin Benjamin Bunny, in distinctively delightful prints on unisex sweatshirts and oversized T-shirts. I am personally in love with how comfortable the piece is and the flexibility of being able to lounge at home with it, or strut it out during a rainy day.
The lineup includes 10 items for women and 10 items for men, two unisex items, and seven accessories.
You can get the collection at their outlets around Singapore or even on their online store at www.uniqlo.com/sg/.
