Nature-inspired light show at ION Sky: Timeless Wonder

From now till 30 April 2021, marvel at the enduring splendour of the earth at ION Sky’s Timeless Wonder, the latest seasonal animated light show. The spectacular scenes of phenomenal landscapes immerse viewers in the beauty of the nature and instils a sense of awe for the environment.

The show will play before ION Sky’s evergreen shows – ‘Adventures in Food Wonderland by Ang Ku Kueh Girl and Friends’ at 2pm and 4pm, and ‘The Transformation of Orchard Road’ produced by Dick Lee at 3pm and 5pm.

Clarins: Using plant-based ingredients, protecting biodiversity

French luxury skincare and cosmetics brand Clarins’ products have long been inspired by nature and use plant-based ingredients in their quality formulas. H&M: Encouraging a more conscious shopping behavior through different programs

With a vision to lead the change towards a sustainable fashion future, accessible fashion brand H&M is known for its Let’s Reuse initiative that charges $0.10 for every paper shopping bag to encourage shoppers to bring their own reusable bags. All proceeds are used to sponsor confidence-building programs for women by Daughters of Tomorrow.

In addition to that, H&M has had its Garment Collecting program since 2013. To prevent fashion from being wasted, customers are invited to bring their pre-loved or unwanted garments to any of their stores to be reused or recycled. H&M

also helps customers in making conscious choices by providing garments made from more sustainable materials. These garments are available throughout the whole year in different concepts and can be recognized by the green hangtag.

L’OCCITANE EN PROVENCE: Complimentary eco-tote bag with $100 nett spend on eco-refill packs

Presto Drycleaners: Donate Clothes with Presto

In a world of fast fashion, textile waste is a growing issue in retail. Garment care professionals Presto, located at ION Orchard, has long provided better dry cleaning and laundry techniques to improve the life span of their customers’ clothes. Going a step further, Presto has launched its latest campaign Donate Clothes with Presto.

As of 1 April 2021, the socially conscious garment care brand has teamed up with Cornerstone Community Services (CCS) to be a part of a donation drive for the needy and migrant workers who shop at CCS’ volunteer-run thrift shop The Barn. The

donation drive aims to encourage the public and its customers to recycle and upcycle, creating less textile waste. With that, its ION Orchard outlet will be accepting clothing donations on the behalf of The Barn.

Nespresso: Recycle and Redeem

Known for its quality brews and machines, as well as their sustainability efforts, Nespresso launched coffee capsules made of 80% recycled aluminum last year. As their next step, they will be making their full range of coffee capsules using recycled aluminum which is infinitely recyclable.

Join Nespresso on their sustainability journey this Earth Day. The first 100 visitors who bring their own takeaway mug to the Nespresso ION Orchard Boutique will be able to receive a complimentary fill of Vertuo coffee.

The Body Shop: ION Activist Workshop and Return.Recycle.Repeat

Pioneer in the wave of sustainable and ethically sourced body and skincare, The Body Shop launched its first Southeast Asia Activist Workshop store concept at ION Orchard in July 2020. To minimize its environmental impact, the ION Orchard store is fitted with “green” materials like reclaimed wood and recycled plastics.

Paying homage to its roots, the store also has an Activism Corner where they share the history of its activism and how its visitors can get involved with The Body Shop collective of activists. To make it easier for the public to recycle plastic, their

Return.Recycle.Repeat initiative invites visitors to return and recycle any of The Body Shop’s empty plastic bottles, tubs, tubes, and pots at its designated bin.
