What’s special about this outlet is that it exhibits a mesmerising indoor-outdoor mural by Singaporean artist Aeropalmics, whose work was inspired by the high energy of the Bishan neighbourhood. Uniquely for Bishan residents!

This outlet consists of two floors, and the interior design reflects the varying heights and intersections of multiple roads around Junction 8 to showcase its function as a key connectivity point. The designs are smartly incorporated into the ceiling and wall, and even the lighting choice.

Shake Shack Burgers, Crinkle Cut Fries and Drink

If you have not tried Shake Shack before and are unsure of which burger to get, their signature ShackBurger ($9.70) will not disappoint you. Relish this classic burger combination consisting of a juicy beef patty, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and ShackSauce.

Another burger that won my heart upon the first bite is the ‘Shroom Burger ($11.60). Do not skip it over just because you saw the “vegetarian” label, this one will exceed your expectations of a vegetarian burger. Soft potato buns, crisp-fried portobello mushroom filled with oozing cheese, and topped with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and ShackSauce. No mushy patty in sight.

They are also really well-known for their Crinkle Cut Fries ($4.50, with cheese $5.90). The way the fries are cut, makes them simply crispy and satisfying.

Exclusively at Junction 8
