Mission Foods Singapore’s #LikeBreadButBetter campaign, featuring Adam Liaw, aims to shine the spotlight on wraps as a replacement for bread.
As someone who likes to maintain a healthy diet, wraps are my favourite replacement for bread. I am happy to hear that Mission Foods Singapore’s latest campaign, #LikeBreadButBetter, is here to make Singaporeans rethink bread as a diet staple and instead, reach for healthier options such as wraps, pitas, and naans.
Mission Foods’ wide range of products includes my favourites like Reduced Carb Wraps, Wholemeal Pitas, and Plain Naans! These products allow me and my family to boost our creativity and ensure that we get healthy meals all day long. Its flavour-infused flatbreads such as Garlic & Herb Naans also provide versatile options and make me crave butter chicken as one of the better meals.
In collaboration with Masterchef Australia Season 2 winner and TV presenter, Adam Liaw, Mission Foods is also sharing his collection of #LikeBreadButBetter recipes, inspired by popular sandwich recipes using their own Mission Food wraps and flatbread.
Some of the recipes include a classic Vietnamese sandwich in the form of a Bahn Mi Pita stuffed with juicy, savory roast chicken and a medley of carrots, cucumbers, coriander, and Bird’s Eye chilies in a Mission Wholemeal Pita.
Here is another recipe known as Reuben Naanwich with a tantalising pairing of scrumptious corned beef with melted Swiss cheese and a generous serving of sauerkraut sandwiched in between warm and toasty Mission Plain Naans.
And the last recipe is Adam’s take on a conventional smoked salmon sandwich, recreated in a deliciously light and refreshing Smoked Salmon Wrap elevated with crunchy watercress, fresh avocado and a luscious Shichimi (Japanese seven spice) mayonnaise in a delectable Mission Supersoft Onion and Chive Wrap. What’s even more exciting is that from 5 July 2021 to 8 August 2021, Mission Foods Singapore and Adam Liaw are issuing a nationwide challenge to Singaporeans to create their own #LikeBreadButBetter recipes using Mission Foods’ products and share them on Instagram. There will be attractive cash prizes of up S$1,000 to be won. For more information, please visit Mission Foods’ Instagram page at www.instagram.com/missionfoods.sg/.
