J&T Fashion Week Brings Together Local Fashion Brands In Live Stream Shopping Experience
Local labels will be hitting the runway this August as J&T Express, Southeast Asia’s leading e-commerce logistics provider, announced its inaugural J&T Fashion Week in Singapore. Themed ‘Support SG Local: Going Further and Beyond’, the digital fashion week is part of J&T Express’ ongoing efforts to support homegrown retail and fashion brands that have been affected by the global pandemic.
Week-long Exclusive Deals And Promotions
J&T Fashion Week’s online and social media focus means anyone anywhere can have front-row access to Singapore’s fashion during the five-day event. Running from 18 to 22 August, the event will be showcasing around 20 homegrown labels, which include MDS Collections and Saturday Club.
Throughout the entire fashion week, consumers will have access to exclusive promotions and discounts of up to 90% off from participating brands via the J&T Fashion Week microsite, as well as participate in exciting giveaways through J&T Express’ official Facebook and Instagram pages.
J&T Fashion Week Virtual Fashion Show
Bringing these brands to life, headlining the event will be a virtual fashion show, as models strut the runway with outfits from participating brands. The fashion show will be streaming on 20 August at 7:00 pm across J&T Express’ social platforms on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.
Tapping into today’s “see now, buy now” phenomenon, the fashion show presents an exciting new way to shop. Viewers looking to covet some of the pieces featured will be able to shop directly during the fashion show, by scanning the QR code that will appear during the show and catch special promotions and discounts from the brands being showcased.
J&T Fashion Week Supporting Local Partners
In the spirit of supporting local, J&T Fashion Week’s official partners include a local CSR partner LampPost, and Temasek Polytechnic, with LampPost and Temasek Polytechnic’s fashion graduates showcasing their unique designs at the virtual fashion show. J&T Express will also be supporting the delivery of LampPost’s latest charity pack initiative together with Bread Talk, to help raise funds for Singapore’s Community Chest. J&T Express’ local clients that have also come on board as supporting partners of the event include Tasty Snack and SK Jewellery.
Andrew Sim, CEO of J&T Express Singapore said, “COVID-19 has hit local businesses hard across all industries. As one of the major e-commerce industry players in Singapore, we are committed to supporting the business growth for all of our customers, and we are always looking at ways to help e-Commerce merchants to sell and grow together with them during this difficult period.
“This includes driving greater consumer awareness and interest towards local brands through innovative ways, such as tapping into livestream shopping. Through our first-ever J&T Fashion Week event, we hope to push the boundaries and provide a platform for brands, and this is part of J&T Express’ larger efforts to help our customers explore new opportunities and business strategies post-COVID.”
