Flourful Delight, loved for its Xiao Long Bao and Guo Tie, has opened its second outlet at Jurong West! You will be able to visit them from 22 Feb 2023 at 496 Jurong West Street 41.

Founded by Chef Lei, who honed his culinary skills in cooking for travelers in hostel kitchens, the stall boasts quality and authenticity, and its Xiao Long Bao, Guo Tie, and Wanton in Chili Oil dishes are must-tries. The menu also features a range of noodle dishes, including Zha Jiang Noodles, Dan Dan Noodles, Braised Beef Noodles, Braised Pork Ribs Noodles, and Dumpling Noodles.

For the mains, we tried their Zha Jiang Noodles which is my personal favourite for Chinese dishes and they did not disappoint. The sauce was strong in flavour in terms of the saltiness and the vegetables provided the crunch that the noodles needed to make the dish complete. Not forgetting how generous they are in terms of the meat in the sauce. I personally would recommend trying this if you are not a spice lover.

For side dishes, we had their Pan Fried Dumplings and Xiao Long Bao. Their pan-fried dumplings were honestly one of the best that I have tried so far in Singapore! The crispiness was just nice and the amazing thing is the sauce that is within the dumpling. Most pan-fried dumplings that I have tried do not have the juice within the dumpling as it might have evaporated in the frying process. But for Flourful Delight, they have managed to keep the juice within the dumpling, allowing it to explode in my mouth and bring the flavours to a new level. Do try it for yourself!

Last but not least, the fan favourite is Xiao Long Bao. I was immensely surprised by how good it was! For the price that was paid for Xiao Long Bao, it is definitely worth it. I was not the only one who thought that way as by 8 pm, this dish was already sold out, so it’s on a first-come-first-serve basis. I personally think that it can be on par with what you can get at Din Tai Fung, so do yourself a favour and give it a try!

With prices ranging from $4.50 to $7 only, Westsiders can now rejoice with traditional and affordable Chinese meals at their doorstep! They usually close at around 9 pm and most of the best dishes will already be gone by 8 pm so do drop by earlier to fight the queue and enjoy their dishes!
