start your entrepreneurial journey?

I don't think there's a defining moment or experience, but I a process of starting something small, and then stopped after a while. But I find myself always back at entrepreunial. For example, when I was in university, I learnt about Website Design and just go ahead to find clients to do it, although I stopped after 2 clients, I find myself starting a handmade soap business again. When COVID hits, I did online story telling to earn some money. Each of these aren't great, but I find that I am very ready to put myself out there and start a business or get the ball rolling. When I came across a chance to start my current business with a trusted mentor, I am sure this will be something I can do for long and grow properly.

We focus on driving across unique experiences, such as Learning Trips to China and local learning activities. Our centre is very experience oriented, and hence many parents and students felt that the lessons here are a lot more engaging then the others they have tried.

I hope they see learning Chinese, or the process of learning something they are not confortable with, is not scary. I hope all students feel the joy of improvement and take this feeling with them to their future endeavours to be confident in themselves whenever they face challenges.

So far the greatest problem I have is self-doubt. For example, unsure whether I am doing enough for the company, for the students. To overcome, I talkto customer/business partners. Chats with them helps me identify what I'm not doing enough, so I can focus energy on doing this. More often they not, they also give me credits that I dont see.

I enjoy short trips to just unwind, 3-4 days is my sweetspot of not too much that it affects job and enough for me to feel rested. I am inspired by my mum who can work so hard for the past so many years. If she can do it, I can too!

It has taught me be flexible, situation always change quickly. What was decided yesterday might not be applicable today, so be open minded, fail fast and learn fast.

I would say its connection and purpose. It make me happy when I see what I am doing have a direct impact on a greater cause. For example when teaching, I feel so happy when I see them a little more confident in speaking than before. In personal life I also always try to make time for my parents

Find a support system or someone you can trust and talk to. Do not have to this alone.

I hope that we have multiple branches and become a name Singaporeans parent heard of when they think of learning Chinese
