I hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, but switched careers to follow my passion. I have been practicing yoga for 20 years.
Previously, I worked as a Research Fellow at NTU for four years.
With a PhD in Engineering and a deep understanding of body anatomy, I offer safe and effective yoga lessons designed to help you achieve your personal goals. Whether online or in person, my classes focus on body-mind connection, flexibility, and empowerment, guiding you toward a balanced, confident lifestyle.
Passion! I never imagined becoming a yoga teacher at first, but I discovered true joy when guiding my friends through poses. When I felt ready to start my own business, I chose yoga teaching—it felt natural and fulfilling.
As a mother of 3, it’s a struggle to pursue what I truly want while balancing real-life responsibilities. I do feel fear at times, but it’s persistence that keeps me going—helping me face challenges and overcome them one by one.
It is my dad who inspired me—he’s the reason I wanted to start my own business.
I’ve always wanted to help people. I once dreamed of becoming a doctor or working in the medical field, but life took me down the path of engineering instead—far from where I thought I’d be. Teaching yoga allows me to fulfill that original desire in a different way. Through yoga, I help others heal—and in the process, I heal myself too.
No pain no gain, we must do something to achieve our dream/goal.
I love practicing yoga, and I also enjoy doing things that bring me peace and joy—like coloring, crocheting, working on handcraft projects, and reading books.
I know that starting a business isn’t easy, which is why I’m passionate about supporting fellow women entrepreneurs in any way I can. Through yoga, I help women heal both their bodies and minds. When we achieve something we once thought was impossible, it builds confidence and a deep sense of empowerment. That kind of support is what keeps us grounded and moving forward.
I’m always open to experiencing new things and embracing growth.
Just do it! There will be ups and downs, but I don’t see them as failures. Failure only happens when you give up. Every challenge is just a step in the process before success.
Sometimes, we can burn out from doing too many things we don’t enjoy, things we feel forced to do. But I believe that, in everything, there’s always a choice. When you realize this, it gives you the resources to face challenges. There’s always a path that aligns with your character, one that you can truly enjoy.
