The Give to Gift International Women’s Day event by DisruptHER for Women and The Ladies Cue brought together a group of women for an afternoon of connection, learning, and sharing. The 3 workshop pillars, Mind & Body, Relationships & Intimacy, and Career & Wealth, were very well received. Many participants found the sessions relatable and meaningful. During the Career & Wealth workshop, some women even became emotional, as the activity helped them reflect on their own lives and decisions.

We were also honoured to have Mr Shawn Huang, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Finance & Ministry of Manpower, join us. He shared perspectives on parenting, highlighted the value of lived experiences that attendees related to, and provided updates on the Government’s efforts to support marriage and parenthood. Beyond the workshops, the Discovery Zones were filled with energy and excitement. Women took their time to explore the booths, connect with the brands, and enjoy the experience. With the event happening on the last Saturday of March and the last of Q1, it felt like a meaningful way to pause, celebrate, and close the quarter on a high note.

What stood out most was the atmosphere. There were smiles, laughter, and genuine conversations happening throughout the space. After the event, we received many messages from participants sharing how much they enjoyed the experience. Some even asked if they could return to attend the other workshops, something we take as a strong sign that this is just the beginning. This reminds us that when women are given the right space, they open up, connect, and grow together.
