At The Ladies Cue, we believe that learning should be practical and useful for real business growth. In one of our curated workshops, we partnered with Geogrowth to teach our Fempreneurs on how to use Google Maps to get more customers and improve their business visibility.

Today, many customers no longer search through websites or social media first. Instead, they simply type “near me” on Google. Whether it’s a café, a retail store, a beauty service, or a home-based business, Google Maps has become one of the first places customers look. If your business is not showing up there, you could be missing out on real opportunities.

During the session, Geogrowth broke down Google Maps ' functions in a very simple and easy-to-understand way. They guided Fempreneurs through how to set up and optimise their Google Business Profile, including important details such as business information, photos, and descriptions. They also shared how reviews can build trust and how regularly updating your profile can help your business stay visible. Most importantly, they shared tips and tricks that helped Fempreneurs instantly for their business growth! Instead of focusing on complicated terms, Geogrowth explained everything in a way that made sense for everyday business owners. Many Fempreneurs realised that small actions, such as asking for reviews, uploading photos, and keeping their information updated, can make a big difference in how customers discover them.

The workshop also shifted the way many participants think about visibility. It is not just about being online, but about being found at the right moment, when someone nearby is already searching and ready to make a decision. Beyond the learning, the session created a valuable space for connection. Fempreneurs from different industries came together, shared their challenges, and exchanged ideas. Some discussed collaborations, while others supported one another with advice and encouragement. These conversations reminded us that growth does not happen alone too!
