Our community believes that connections begin with understanding ourselves, which is why our recent Fem It Forward event brought together a room of inspiring female entrepreneurs for an evening centred around Numerology & Self-Discovery. It was a session curated to encourage every fempreneur to slow down, reflect, and explore who they are beyond their businesses.

Hosted by one of our Fem Pass Holder Yi Ting, who built Staplefood in Joo Chiat, the evening was less about exchanging business cards and more about having genuine conversations that could lead to authentic relationships. As the session began, fempreneurs were introduced to the fascinating world of numerology.

Together, we explored why understanding ourselves is often the first step towards becoming better leaders, business owners, and individuals. From learning how to map our personal Inverted Triangle Chart to discovering the strengths and characteristics behind each number, the session invited everyone to reflect on their natural gifts, challenges, and life patterns. During this time, there was so much laughter and excitement, we wished we could describe it with words! We started to see each other from a fresh perspective, especially volunteers in The Ladies Cue.

After the learning session, the evening naturally flowed into post event conversations, which became even more personal. Besides business introductions, conversations led into authentic stories about growth, purpose, family, and entrepreneurship. It reminded us that while every Fempreneur runs a different business, many of us share similar hopes, challenges, and dreams.

One of the beautiful things about Fem It Forward is that every session offers something different. Sometimes we explore practical business skills. Other times, we focus on personal growth. This session was a gentle reminder that building a successful business also means understanding the person behind it. As women, founders, mothers, and leaders, the more we understand ourselves, the more confidently we can lead others.
